Dr. Gregorio MontemayorFernndez was born in Lubao, Pampanga on May 25, 1904 to Eugenio Fernndez y Araneta and Maria Montemayor. Yoyong practically grew up in the town with a rich Zarzuela tradition that exposed him early to the performance arts.
